One advantage of having all your plans scanned into the computer, is that you can print them whenever you need a copy.
By default, PlanTek PlanTek is a fully paperless plan management software developed specifically for designers, and integrates with MiTek's eFrame software. automatically selects the appropriate size and orientation of the plan to fit best on whatever printer you send the document to.
It is sometimes convenient to print 11x17 miniature copies of your plans, which can easily be done with PlanTek using the appropriate printer.
To Print a Plan:
Print a plan one of three ways:
Press the Print button
on the toolbar, from the main screen.
Choose File > Print from the main screen.
Choose File > Print Current View. This will capture the view currently visible on your main window. This feature is very powerful to aid in communication of plan layer discrepancies with the architect or customer.
Print Dialog opens.
Now select the desired printer from the list.
You can print to PDF Adobe Portable Document File. A file type supported by PlanTek. if you want to email or transfer the image in any electronic method. This is extremely beneficial with the Print Current View feature.
