Plans can be easily loaded using the Open Plan dialog.
A plan can be opened the following ways:
Choose File > Open Plan from the main screen. show image

Choose File > Open Plan by Browsing to Folder from main screen. show image

Click the Open Plan button from the toolbar. show image

You can load the plans from four(4) different
locations, choose one of the following:
The Local On users local machine. Not on network drive., Network Path setup for purpose of sharing plans between users. Typically on a server with a faster file access capability. Not local., and Archive Local or Network path established for storing old plans. Usually a large inexpensive harddrive for storage, rather than deleting old plans when done with the job. paths are typically setup during the
initial setup of PlanTek PlanTek is a fully paperless plan management software developed specifically for designers, and integrates with MiTek's eFrame software.
A Job that is opened using the browse button will remain in its current
location and will not be copied to the server for all users to view.
Choose Local if the job is stored on your local machine (not on a server)
Choose Network if the job is stored on a network location (a server or mapped drive)
Choose Archive if the job is stored in the archived path location.
Choose Browse if you would like to browse to locate the job folder. (Save time by choosing Open Plan by Browsing from the File menu)
Searching for a job.
You must first select either Local, Network, or Archive location (search does not work with browse feature)
Then type the Job Number or Job Name (job description set when creating a new job) into the search box. The other jobs in the list will be filtered as you type, allowing you to quickly narrow your search.
After locating your job, make sure the job is highlighted and then click the Open button.
