You should only create new jobs from a single computer, preferably the computer connected to the scanner.

Scan in all pages for a set of plans
Click the New Set of
Plans button from the toolbar. Note:
You can also create a new job from a Zipped File.

The New Plan dialog opens.

In the New Job Location choose one of the following:
To have the job stored on the network Path setup for purpose of sharing plans between users. Typically on a server with a faster file access capability. Not local. for all users to access, choose Network from the selection.
To have the job stored on the local On users local machine. Not on network drive. machine, if no server is setup, choose Local from the selection.
To have the job stored on device or server selected for archived jobs, choose Archive Local or Network path established for storing old plans. Usually a large inexpensive harddrive for storage, rather than deleting old plans when done with the job. from the selection.
Next Enter the Job or Quote # to match the Job or Quote # from your order tracking system. If you don't have an order tracking system, you can turn on Automatic Job Numbering
To Turn on Automatic Job Numbering
Choose Tools > Settings from the main screen.
The Settings Dialog will open

Rename
