A very valuable time saving feature of PlanTek PlanTek is a fully paperless plan management software developed specifically for designers, and integrates with MiTek's eFrame software. is the integration with eFrame. There are two ways in which a user can enter wall information into eFrame from PlanTek:

Open the eFrame application.
Click File > New Job from the eFrame main screen.
Create your Job name and click Save
Job Dialog opens
Click OK to continue.
Select the wall tool from the toolbar or hotkey "shift + w"
Now return to the floor plan in PlanTek
Decide starting origin and zoom to appropriate level.
Use the numeric keypad and press the direction in which to draw the wall, just as you would in eFrame.
To draw a 45° diagonal wall:
Press the diagonal keys on the numeric
keypad in the direction you want to draw. (For example
to draw an angle going right and up I would press the "9" key
on the numeric keypad. To draw right and down I would press the "3"
key on the numeric keypad.)
The Wall Input dialog appears.

Default entry is diagonal distance, use this feature the same as you would in eFrame. To toggle between Diagonal measurement and Horizontal measurement entry press the "space bar".
To use the Diagonal measurement you must have or find the diagonal distance.
To use the Horizontal measurement simply enter the horizontal distance of a 45° wall.
Now enter the measurement.
Click OK, then continue to the next measurement.
To draw any angle diagonal wall:
Press the comma key ","
from the keyboard.
The Angle by X, Y offsets dialog appears

Enter the distance for the X (horizontal) Offset and the Y (vertical) Offset direction. Use this feature if you only know these distances and not the angle of the wall just as you would in eFrame.
Click OK, then continue to the next measurement.
After completing the walls press "c" to close the walls, and select the correct wall edge.
