PlanTek PlanTek is a fully paperless plan management software developed specifically for designers, and integrates with MiTek's eFrame software. allows you to "trace" the walls into eFrame from your scanned images.
There are two ways in which a user can enter wall information into eFrame from PlanTek:

Open the eFrame application.
Click File > New Job from the eFrame main screen.
Create your Job name and click Save
Job Dialog opens
Click OK to continue.
Select the wall tool from the toolbar or hotkey "shift + w"
Now return to the floor plan in PlanTek
Decide starting origin and zoom to appropriate level.
Click the ECT button from the toolbar on the main screen.
Now click on starting origin and move mouse to
end of that wall segment and click. Use the dimensions on the plans for
verification.

The Draw Wall dialog appears

ECT defaults to the nearest 8/16th. To increase the number increments:
Point your mouse cursor to the textbox you wish to change feet, inches, sixteenths.
While holding your mouse over the textbox, use the mouse wheel to:
Scroll up to increase value
Scroll down to decrease value
You may simply enter the number using the keypad
Click Draw Wall button, then continue to the next measurement.
Drawing an angled wall with ECT:
Click the starting point and the end point
of the diagonal wall. ECT snaps to 45°
increments. To do a custom angle hold the shift key while drawing this
causes ECT to conform to any angle.

The ECT Draw Wall Dialog has two tabs:
Horiz. & Vert. Distance: (show image)

Use this feature if you know the X (horizontal) and Y (vertical) distance.
The blue arrows will default to the direction you have clicked. To change this simply click the arrows to represent the direction you want the wall to draw.
Angle & Distance: (show image)

Use this feature if you know the Diagonal distance and the angle in degrees.

Continue clicking the dimensions around the plan.
When Finished press "c" to close the walls, then select the correct wall edge.
Press the "esc" key to release the ECT feature.
